Melburnians, such as this young lady, have mastered the art of monotone. It’s about proportion and interesting shapes rather than showing off with kaleidoscope hues. While her silhouette is slouchy and relaxed, the outfit is pulled together with cropped pants that rise nicely along the waistline and a streamlining jacket. Yet sometimes we want to break free from all the black and neutrals. Printed scarves are the single easiest way to add colour to an outfit as this gentleman shows. He’s not afraid of colour; finding the perfect shade of red to offset two blues and a tone that also does not clash with this salmon shirt. Wonderful.
