Join journalist Jill Singer as she hosts a lively discussion about the rise of Melbourne as a shopping capital. Featuring special guests Graeme Davison (author of The Rise and Fall of Marvellous Melbourne), Naomi Milgrom (Sussan Group CEO) and Stephen Bennett (founder of Country Road). With an introduction by Deputy Lord Mayor Susan Riley.

This is part of a program of events celebrating the State Library of Victoria’s free exhibition ’til you drop: shopping – a Melbourne history showing in the Keith Murdoch Gallery until October 2010.
