Curating Desire

In conjunction with the State Of Design festival, the til you drop: Shopping – a Melbourne History exhibition presents a discussion on “the changing shape of Melbourne’s retail landscape, including shop design, laneways, malls and shopping strips.” This event looks at the idea that good design is an integral part of our retail experience, even going so far as to suggest it can affect our purchasing decisions. Curating Desire: Designing Melbourne’s Retail Landscape will also describe how retail spaces have become more than simply just places to shop.

Speakers include:
Simon Knott – Black Kosloff Knott; co-presenter of 3RRR’s The Architects
