Staged on the magnificent first floor level of Melbourne’s GPO, our ‘Fashion at Altitude’ parades were designed to showcase  our in-house labels in a truly unique setting. Heritage archways framed models who sported sculptural, vintage inspired hair and makeup by Heading Out Hair and Beauty, masterful millinery pieces by our friend Paris Kyne and the odd birdcage to accessorise. Crooner Paris Zachariou charmed the audience and serenaded the parading beauties with his impromptu lyrics.
Our special guest for the day’s events included Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2009 Ambassador, model Jessica Hart and designers Paris Kyne, Christopher Chronis, Leona Edmiston, Akira Isogawa, Charlie Digby, Wayne Cooper and Darren and Nicole Williams of nicolangela.
Thank you to the many Melbourne’s GPO Lovers and our new social network friends who came to our ‘Fashion at Altitude’ parades this week. We loved chatting with, catching up and meeting you all! There was such a demand to attend that tickets booked out in thirty seconds – it is fabulous to hear so many of you are interested in quality Australian and international fashion and design.  To those who missed out and have been getting in touch make sure you are signed up as  Lover to receive advanced notice of our next special event. We have plenty of photos in the albums below to peruse if you couldn’t make it along this time. Enjoy the rest of your (sometimes sunny, sometimes hailing) Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
