Like many of us it seems Mimco has been swept up with the fever of the impending L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. After all the company has close ties with Melbourne as it began here in 1996 and the label’s current creative director trained at RMIT.
In honour of LMFF Mimco has created just 50 limited edition ‘Vampirella’ satchels – a few of which are available for purchase at Melbourne’s GPO. The bag is highly textural featuring spidery embroidery, leather, chains and suede. Plus it is gothic and black so well suited to Melbourne’s winter season.
