Mimco’s second collection for 2009 is, as of today, now available in store. The collection entitled “Souvenir Delirium” is full of streamlined Art Deco accents in contrasting black and white. In the latest campaign, the quirky meets classic collection is shown off by the statuesque, flame-haired Alice Burdeu surrounded by a throng of clocks, goldfish and mirrors. The stark white setting and amazing pleated, paper-like dress Alice wears provide an offbeat backdrop for the new pieces. Our picks are the “Glow in the Dark” ankle boot in a soft grey suede that transcends the winter to spring season and the “Cicada” comb which is a tougher alternative to wearing prettier creatures in your hair.
