Fashions on the Field 2009 at Moonee Valley Racing Club

In a bigger than ever before competition, Melbourne’s GPO Fashions on the Field sees the inclusion of four exclusive categories including Young Contemporary Racewear, Head Turning Hats, Ladies Classic Racewear (exclusive to ladies > 40 years of age) and the newly created Moonee Valley Racing Club Members’ Racewear.

All heats and the final will be held on Tatts Cox Plate Day on Saturday 24th October 2009. Heats for the Head Turning Hats and Moonee Valley Members’ Racewear categories will commence after Race 3 on the program. Ladies Classic Racewear heats will follow after Race 4 and Young Contemporary Racewear will follow Race 5. The winners of each of the four category finals will then compete in the overall Melbourne’s GPO Fashions on the Field Final which will be held after Race 6.

The 2009 winner will drive away in a brand new Mazda2, receive Melbourne’s GPO vouchers and an abundance of additional prizes. The 1st and 2nd runners up in each heat will also win prizes.

Participants can register by Tatts Cox Plate Day by completing the form at the registration desk at the entrance to the Cheval Enclosure or downloading it from the website to bring along on the day. Registration opens from 11am and entrants must be registered at least 30 minutes before their chosen heat starts.
