Happy New Year! The brand new decade has inspired us to find a shiny (literally) new wardrobe. “Out with the old and in with the new” the sentiment goes. The fresh shimmer in this outfit comes courtesy a mesh summer trench by Alexi Freeman, ‘Spartan’s’ heels from Hussy, a double shoulder bag from Mandarina Duck, the chunky Acne ‘Lock’ belt and a unique ‘Rock’ necklace by Pam from Fat. Here’s to the best year ever.

Watching Caroline O’Connor perform a medley of musical tunes at the Racing In Style Ladies’ Luncheon today inspired us to look towards the Jazz era with a touch of art deco style for our last minute Cox Plate outfits. This versatile look could easily be translated for next week’s Derby Day also with its black and white traditions.

Did you know many of the Spring Racing days have their own floral emblem? Tomorrow’s Caulfield Cup Day is represented by the white rose and that’s the inspiration for this outfit. We hope everyone stays dry and backs a winner (our money is on ‘Harris Tweed’ as it was the only fashion related horse we could find!)
