A Melbourne moment raises $56,500 for cancer council
Along the colonnades of the iconic Melbourne’s GPO stretched a long dining table ready to welcome guests, celebrate Melbourne and inspire generosity, raising support and awareness for Cancer Council’s initiative to eliminate cervical cancer from Victoria.
Guests gathered on the iconic steps of Melbourne’s GPO in the glorious autumn afternoon, sipping cocktails created by Melbourne Gin Company and listening to the melodic sounds of Angel Barallon, a regular feature of the Melbourne busking line up.
Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp welcomed guests to the first long table dining experience held under the majestic colonnades of the GPO and a Melbourne Moment officially began as guests enjoyed an unforgettable menu created by Vue de Monde executive chef Hugh Allen with dessert by Burch & Purchese.
We are so pleased to announce that A Melbourne Moment dining experience at Melbourne’s GPO raised $56,500 for Cancer Council and we are so thankful to all those who experienced the evening with us.
